Update on Kinokuniya

When i arrived as usually i check the graphic section where all the artbooks located and then the new book shelves, not a single Kuroshitsuji book available. At this point i'm getting extremely nervous because i know if they didnt reserve a book for me i would probably have to make new order (which will take a while). When i arrive at the pick up counter and gave the staff my order number, he was searching for a while but they did reserve a book for me they just failed to informed me to pick it up.

I should be more careful next time, they usually reserve a book for a week and after no pick up the book will go to the shelves. If i ever make any pre-order again i will definitely ask them for update on the release date and a week after the release date.

I havent be able to enjoy the book yet (eventhough it's an artbook) i'm busy finishing up a paper (which occasionally i procrastinate by reading BL).

p/s: was reading Love Mode by shimizu yuki (chp1). That angular jaws, makes me giggle a little bit her art sure has improve a lot and her storyline is as awesome if not even more than usual.

p/s/s: i should have procrastinate with shorter BL, now i have the urge to read more of it.

Kinokuniya

Tomorrow will be the day for me to either be extremely angry or happy.

My local kinokuniya customer service is borderline suck. I've been having awful feeling lately regarding my pre-order of kuroshitsuji artbook. The release date is 18 Jan and i have yet to receive any email or update.So i decided to check the bookweb for its availability and there it is in stock. So now, either they have completely forgotten to inform me or my order have been lost (since i pre-ordered it a month ago).


The verdict is tomorrow and i hope I'll be hearing good news.


Honestly they really should do something about their customer service and ordering system. Almost always (i put "almost" just to be nice) whenever i make an order i will have to call them and ask whether they received my order. Around half of the time i need to resend the order. Calling them isnt easy either I always get bounce at once or more to some other department. Between receiving my order and confirmed the order that at least take a day or two. For normal order this is fine but not for some limited releases. The waiting period between confirmed order and for the order ready to pick up/sent has no progress update. Once my order took so long (2-3 months maybe) with no update and i even bought the books somewhere else since i thought they could not get the item but *BAM a wild msg appear* "your book ready for pick up".

Am i pissed? Yes.
Will i still buy from them? Yes because it's cheaper.
What can i do to make my life happier? I just have to get the update from them by calling emailing them. * sigh

Nobody know how happy ia m to hear this news. In conjunction with Sidonia no Kishi anime which coming soon the publisher decided to reprint Tsutomu Nihei artbook Blame and so on. This is one book that still bugging me because i couldn't buy it when it was first release. I was young with no earning back then. I went to kinokuniya occasionally just to drool over artbook (i'm sucker for art). Now i am just extremely excited that they going to re-release the book. I got this news pretty late, the pre-sale of the book is at C85 StarChild booth and it will be sign by Nihei. If i knew about this sooner i would have arrange for pick up. But it's ok, now i'm curious when is the pre-order date, i'm definitely not ganna miss this release again.

K groundwork release in Feb

I dunno what so special about K, there's sure is something coz they milking it like evangelion.
K has 2 manga spin off, a novel and now they releasing an artbook i found out that releasing 4 artbooks, available for pre-order coz it special *wink (groundwork artbook)
i have nothing against it in fact i'm considering of buying the artbook. I just want to know why, WHY this 13ep anime?
please anyone shed some light at me i need to know (my curiosity kills many cats).
