My Whatever

Went to my cousin house for her wedding last week, we arrived 2 days earlier to "help out". Unlike the old days there were really nothing much to help out in the modern wedding, so I ends up laying around in the house reading manga.
I chose to read Amatsuki since the recent chapter has been intense and it looks like the ending is near so I might as well revisit the old chapters.

Marathon Amatsuki felt awesome, this manga definitely fell on the heavier/complicated side of manga plot normal distribution, just look at how many translation notes there are to the meaning behind sentences, terms, historical figures and stuff (kudos to Sanada the translator). Since I read it once and when I read it again I can connect the dots much easier and I pretty much have better understanding to the storyline now. It feels very much like watching matrix trilogy the second time, where you go "ahh, that how it is" even though at the first time you wish Neo just take the blue pill (LOL).

Amatsuki has been release with additional booklet for sometimes and the scanlation did some of that too and honestly for me the story in the booklet is as much important as the rest of the story. It can be left out but you'll get better understanding to the plot if you read. This is my pet peeves when it comes to special/limited ed. booklet and it kinda sad. I bought Amatsuki special booklet 100 chapter commemoration of auction, it's about Brayuroku maybe i'll scan it and give it to eg to scanlate.

BTW Ward magazine is discontinued, so sad I followed several stories in there. Some of the series will be online serialization and some will be release in Zero-sums. Haigakura another Takayama Shinobu series that has been serialized in Ward will be published in Zero-sums so now I wonder if this will be alternating with Amatsuki or they will be release togerher? Zero-sums is monthly magazine while Ward was bimonthly magazine so there is possibility of it to be alternate but it also means Amatsuki progress will be cut to half. So now I'm just waiting for them to announce the content of Zero-sums for July (since last Ward release in May).

Firefox is like a virus, every update equal to a complete change and i dont like change (Not for browsers). 

If the update means to improve service or to remove bug that totally fine but a complete change in the interface is just abnormal. Especially when it way to often. Every update makes firefox more chrome-like. Lately everything become google-like (example yahoo email which i dont use anymore thx to their update) but google itself retain their interface every update lol (what an irony).

Of course if i dont like change i dont have to update but the problem is my email wont work properly if i dont (my outlook email, for official stuff and work). I used to use firefox version 20.0 for ages until outlook prompt me to update browser because it buggy if i dont.

Well, i just need to suck it up, despite disliking the frequent change of interface i do like firefox a lot ( i use both chrome and firefox).

I received my parcel from mandarake the other day. The items inside were damage even though the box has minimal damage. This all thanks to the bad packaging. When i made the order i did state in the comment to put a hard cardboard to prevent damage and i did mention it again after i made payment and received their acknowledge email. I specifically mention this because i knew the books (djs actually) are very thin.

So naturally i contacted the telling them about the damage and the way they packed with no hard cardboard and unsuitable box. My email was reply by someone else not by the staff that packed my items because he wasn't in at the time. The staff did acknowledge my comment on how to package and they told me the staff incharge will reply me soon. Two days later i received reply from the staff incharge asking for pictures and i sent to them. His reply was that the damage happen during transportation (no shit, of  course it happen during transportation dumbass. It wont have happen if you packed it properly <-- my thought after reading the email and yes i was really angry). So they asked me to file damage complain against my post office and they will do the same. I plan on playing along with their method and see how it will turn out eventhough i doubt anything good will come out. I think they just wanted me to just suck it up and let go of the issue.

Filing complain against a government body/ organization rarely give any output, even if there is it will take an awful long time. I have plenty of experience in filing complain. Out of many complain i filed only 2 were successful one against housing developer negligent and the other one against cell phone service provider. The one against cell phone service provider i had to seek help from third party to actually make it work (it was a hard battle and satisfactory win).

That's why i believe Mandarake was trying to throw me off. I read a website that totally despise mandarake and i always wonder why since i never had problem with them, but i guess now i know why...

RIght now i'm pressing the books under heavy weight hopefully they goes back to original shape but the broken spine is permanent *sob

The extend of mold mildew damage on my stuff is more severe than i thought. I decided to check potential mildew/mold growth area in my room and found out that my entire display shelves was compromised. Luckily from the looked of it it still new, not as bad and i manage to clean everything.

I don't know what started this problem since i never had this problem before and i cannot think of anything that can caused this. So i decided to take a drastic measure. I bought a freaking expensive electric dehumidifier (which actually the cheapest in the local market cost me almost 1000), humidity gauge, a whole lot of plastic wrapper and silica gel. I also read up a lot on books storage and preservation.

The electric dehumidifier doesn't work as well as i thought it would. So far i only manage to lower down to 55% of humidity which is not good enough. It also produces really loud annoying noise that pretty much gives me headache. I cannot be in the same room when the machine is switched on so it defeat the purpose of having it in the fist place coz in order to maintain the humidity it has to be switch on all the time. Basically buying electric dehumidifier only bore a hole in my purse but does nothing.

Other than that stupid machine my other prevention methods work fine. I don't see anything growing anymore not even on the previously infested area

I ate 4 bowls of chicken soup today.
i feel so content right now. The new pressure cooking really done a wonderful job on the chicken, the soup was rich and the chicken was tender.

BUT i probably wont eat chicken for a week or 2.

15 Cool way to say I'm broke

Yeah i'm broke, ever since COMIKET i've been spending a little too much. But now i'm done i got (some still pending but i've already paid) all that i wanted. So for many months to come i'll be spending only on my necessities that i have been neglecting like food. i also rummaging through my collections for things to sell. For some stuff i have double or triple so i can sell those plus i need to clear some space for the things to come.

2012 almost over and i had been very busy for the past week.

When i finally had my free time i found out that Kubo Tite is married (newly), that's one buy i should cross out of my "future husband list" (LOL). To fill in my free time at the moment i dig up my Hunter X Hunter comic book i had it stored inside a box (i havent had chance to buy new book shelf). It is nice to have HxH marathon it reminds me back why i love this series so much despite the usual comment from fan that it has bad drawings. The mangaka is sick please understand i just glad he continues drawing the manga. I also continue watching LOGH and found a new TV series Arrow. I watched 2 episodes of Arrow not particularly impress with it but since it is from DC Green Arrow so i decided to continue watching it might be good.

COMIKET83 is getting near YA-HA. I already placed my order (have you?). My favorite circle IDEA havent announce anything yet but i'm sure they will coz they like to announce it at the very last minute. This time i think they'll be doing some more Uta no Prince Sama just like C82. I guess FMA flames getting weaker since the manga ended, plus there's a lot new slash anime out there now. The most obvious is K, i like that anime coz i like Mikoto the red king the concept but the storyline moves at the speed of snail pissing the fangirl out of me.

My 10years old PC has been making really loud noise for sometimes now and the first thing that goes to my mind was " probably i should upgrade the RAM and it will be better". So i went to the shop and get a 2GB RAM, open the casing install it to the PC. I switch on the PC without closing back the casing and realize that one of the fan didnt spin properly or to be precise it spin really slow so.. now i got to buy a new fan. T_T. better late than never i guess at least by installing new RAM i got to know that the fan didnt function properly before the whole system heated up and goes *KAPUT*

Honestly i do now know the different of those two, but apparently my mom does. She told me that I always stumble on difficulty whenever i do any task regardless work, study or whatever. For the third party to know that my luck must have been really bad sometimes i kinda scare that my luck might run put..as in.. you ..know..

I give you one example. My mum broke a glass in the kitchen and already clean all the broken pieces. My family member has been walking in and out of the kitchen all day and nobody got hurt. But that night (since i came back late) i went to the kitchen and i stepped on broken piece of glass (-_-;) and the worst thing is after i clean my wound and i went back to the kitchen to throw the piece of glass that wounded me, i step on another piece of glass.
